We are off!!! We flew from Salt Lake to Atlanta then from ATL to Rome. Luckily Koby took some great pictures from the plane. It was a long flight. We flew all through the night and got into Rome at 7 am. There is a 7 hour time difference so it was night time Utah time.
Our first picture in Italy. Getting ready for our Vatican tour.
Already making wishes. :)
The kids were so hot and this is the little shade they found. The tour was amazing to us adults but the kids not so much.
Warning - may contain some nudity - we are in Italy after all. :)
Pictures do not do it justice! I am still blown away that Michelangelo and Davinci painted these ceilings. Absolutely breath taking!!
Jesus with Peter, James and John.
Karsten was really tired. We had to take turns carrying him. He was out for several hours. I really wanted to bring the stroller....
Waiting for the Subway.
This is when it wasn't crowded and we thought it was fun. By the end of the day - Andy almost got his wallet stolen and Karsten was crying because it was so crazy. Experience of a life time. :)
Outside the Colosseum.
When we came out of the subway it was just right in front of us. So cool!!
Battle grounds....
Some pictures are the same - because we had me, Koby and Matt all taking them.
They have lots of cool fountains over in Italy.
This was pretty cool! These guys had a great act with no heads.
The Spanish steps. XOXO
The group waiting for the bus.
We were really bummed that the Trevi fountains were under construction. You hear so much about this place. But we were still excited we got to get up close.
