Collages

I really like to blog, but sometimes it just takes too long so I am in love with my new collages. I am afraid to say I will be doing a lot of these. It is so much faster! You can always click on the collage to make it bigger! :)

Girls Night Out

Matt got Mikaela and me tickets to go and see the Nutcracker in Portland. We got all dressed up and went out on the town. The only sad part was that I got lost like five times, was stressed out and got to the performance 15 minutes late. But we had really good seats and loved the performance! We made it home without any more problems. :)

Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas! We have so much to be grateful for! One thing we really missed was heat. Our heater went out on Christmas Eve. Luckily we had a few space heaters for the kids rooms and our great friends came to our aid and gave us a big Karosene heater that really helped! We just moved it from room to room with us.

Another big surprise I gave the kids was a gift from their Great Grandpa Skousen. He left me some money and I wanted to do something special with it and something that the kids would remember. Since they are always singing and putting on programs, I got them a really nice Karaoke machine. Mikaela's face was priceless. She started to cry. I really think they will remember Grandpa each time they use it. :)

 

Memories

Karsten LOVED Santa! He wanted to eat his beard. Kai wanted nothing to do with him. (Big Surprise!)

The kids did a great Christmas program - but I think we really need to invest in some real Nativity costumes.

We ended the night with our new PJ'S :)
