Tag

So a couple of my friends have tagged me with this, so since I have nothing better to do this rainy Saturday morning, I decided to do it. I went to my sixth folder and sixth picture in my photo file. This is what I got. I am seriously laughing because I can't tell you how many pictures Matt takes of him self. Also on a side note, my other friend said I needed more pictures of Matt and I on my blog and I told her the kids were much cuter to post - Matt however disagrees and thinks he is just as cute. So here you go honey! Love you! :)

Posting

So I haven't been able to blog since we got back from Hawaii because we have all been so sick! We have caught every bug known to man from fevers, colds, sore throats, and the stomach flu. And we all caught everything - every one of us! But happy to say we are all doing better and hopefully no more sickness! And as usual, when I go to blog I do a lot. So here is what has been going on the past few months.

Happy St. Patricks Day!

So my kids are really into holidays and we just all had to wear green today! One thing is for sure, they won't get pinched!

Kai Kai

This coat has been passed down from Mikaela. The older two didn't wear it as much but I just love Kai in it. And with the hat - he is just too cute!!!

See Kai Run

So thanks to my good friends Kim & Annie in Reno -they introduced me to these darling shoes - See Kai run. How perfect for our little Kai. They are super expensive so I checked on ebay and found some for $20. (I know still expensive but half of the price they usually are.) They were so cute and they actually fit Kai's really big, chubby feet. He loves them!

Special baby blanket

So this is a funny story! When we moved to Reno I thought I would have all the time in the world to do fun things with my kids. So one day Mikaela and I went to Wal-Mart and saw this really cute blanket to make for our next baby. We brought it home and tried to attempt to make it. It said it was easy, but it seemed too complicated so we put it away. Well then we had Makai and then moved. So all these events took place and the blanket got forgotten. Mikaela always gets bored on Sunday afternoon's and so I suggested that we do a project together. I saw the blanket in the closet and thought maybe we could try it again. This time after much reading and re-reading I realized I was making this blanket so much harder then it was. It actually was pretty easy to make and Mikaela did a lot of the work. She laid everything out and helped sew and cut it. We finished it in a few days and Mikaela was very proud. It was a fun project to do together. It is a little more on the girly side, so if this baby is a boy, then Mikaela might take it and have it for herself! :)

Koby's new bed

Great Grandpa Skousen moved to Arizona so we were able to get a great bedroom set from him. This is Koby's new set and he loves it!! Thanks Great Grandpa!! And thanks Grandpa & Grandma for packaging it really really well!! :)

Happy Valentines Day!

I usually make big sugar cookies for the kids for valentines day, but this year I did rice crispy treats. They were less work and the kids didn't seem to mind.
