Kai waited all day. By the time we got to our dentist office - we had a 1 hour wait. They did have all sorts of fun games to play, cookies to eat and even a raffle going. Kai has been to see the dentist a lot lately and each time has dressed up in some outfit, so his dentist - Dr. Todd said he was going to dress like Buddy the Elf. Kai decided to go as George. Like I said always Halloween in our house. :)

Thanksgiving
I didn't think we got any pictures on Thanksgiving day, but Mikaela always comes through. (But sadly we don't have any of her!) We had a very quite nice Thanksgiving. As you can see I did most of my cooking with "Little red" in my arms or attached to my leg. Koby did a lot of reading in his favorite chair. Kai watched shows with his fishes and Kaela dressed Karsten so cute! We did make Turkeys out of apples and had a nicely decorated table. We had a wonderful dinner and a wonderful program put on by Mikaela and Koby. Then we headed to some friends for pie and games. We all have a lot to be Thankful for!! :)

Happy Birthday KAI KAI
Kai turned four and he had a few fun days to celebrate.
First we had a friend party on Saturday which was not a costume party, but everyday at our house is still Halloween! He really wanted a silly monster cake he saw in a book.
And yes he wanted it purple. :)
Breakfast in bed was tricky because he woke up at 6 scared at the scary man in his room. (We have now removed the hats behind the door. :)) But Koby managed to calm him down and he stayed with him until I could get him his Lucky Charms. :)
We went to Beaches for dinner and they treated him so good. When we were leaving I said "Kai I am so glad you had a Birthday today." He looked up at me with the cute Kai smile and said "It's my Birthday?" Got to love Kai! :)
Glam Shots by Mikaela!
We took Karsten to JCPenny to get his 18 month pictures done. He did pretty good considering that he was sitting on my lap for most of them. (And I will try to upload some on the blog if it will let me.) But the best part was that when we got home, Mikaela decided to transform her room into a studio with a back drop and all. Here are some of her great shots...

Is it that time again?
Happy Halloween!
This is actual Halloween. The kids looked so cute for church all matching. (The two older did their outfits all on their own. I dressed Karsten and Dad dressed Kai. :) Koby and Tripper showed up to church with the exact same tie. Pretty cool. Kai is with his cute Girlfriend Baylee. They make such a cute little couple!! :) And I do have to say we did pretty good on the carving this year. We had a Tigger, a Doggie, a Spider and a Fun Face - which Mikaela carved all by herself! :) (And we ran out of candy by 7:30!)

SURPRISE!!!
For Mikaela's B-Day we surprised her with a trip to Utah. Lets just say I did a really good job of pulling this thing off!! (I was going to my second families daughter Brooke's wedding so I decided to take Mikaela and Karsten with me.) When she found out in the car on the way to the airport, she cried tears of joy! I almost cried with her. Kai's classic line was wondering if we saw a ghost because there was a lot of screaming. :) It was a very quick trip and I am sorry I wasn't able to see a lot of people, but it was a b-day gift Mikaela will never forget. Karsten loved the head phones and the ice on the plane. We were excited with whatever would entertain him. :)
MIKAELA IS 11 :)
The night before she had her dreams come true and got to be with some of her favorite cousins for a combined B-Day party with her cousin Luke. That night about 11:30 she got sick to her stomach and had to sleep on the floor. We tried to have a yummy crepe breakfast for her, but she still wasn't feeling good. After some rest and a warm bath, she started to perk up and by dinner was doing a little better. She wanted to go to Olive Garden so we took her. She also wanted flourless chocolate cake. We let her have a couple of bites. :) (I have been so organized this week with everything going on, but for some reason I have not bought candles in years, so this was all we had.) We love you Mikaela! You are such a wonderful example to all of us. You are the best sister your brothers could ever ask for and the best daughter! We are so proud of you and we love you so much!! :)
