George Washington
Koby's 5th grade class put on an opera. This was the most amazing thing. The kids wrote the whole script, choreographed the moves, and wrote all the songs - music and everything. Koby was not suppose to be the lead, but he was the only boy that could carry a tune. I knew that Koby could sing, but he did such a good job. Because it was an opera he sang the whole play. I was so proud of my Kobes! Here are some shots from the play. (They also painted the whole set!)
I love this one!! The cute girl that played Martha Washington is Matea. She is a good friend of Koby's. :)
Looks a little serious here.
The cute Washington's! :) (I think Koby is smiling so much because he just got asked to move closer to Matea for the picture.)
Feb & March
Happy Valentines Day!! :)
For Kai's Kindergarten class they held a Kindy 500. You could build any car you wanted to bring to the race. Kai of coarse wanted a Bowser car. Koby was great to help me invent it.
Kai's turn. I have no clue what Karsten's face is all about.
At the Kindy 500. They drove their cars to a bunch of different stations where they learned about our country.
I got to do this booth. We learned all about Mt. Rushmore.
Like I said - Kai's is always building or doing some sort of craft. This was a chair for Bowser. :)
(I have to say - he is very creative!)
Karsten goes with me everywhere! (Especially since he got stitches when I left him for 10 minutes.) He always falls asleep. Unfortunately this time he fell asleep at 6 pm on the way to Mikaela's indoor soccer game.
When Karsten is not asleep in the car - he or Kai are taking pictures of each other. We are in the car way too much!!
We had a cute FHE craft night. We make wheat grass. Mikaela thought it would be fun to draw on faces and then the grass could be the hair.
So Mikaela is super great at fashion. She comes up with such good ideas. Even with her hair. She had me twist this rope into her hair. Turned out pretty cute!
Another car moment from Karsten.
Blue and Gold Banquet. It was spaced themed. Koby constructed this whole cake. :)
