Random Pictures

Kai getting ready for the prayer in church.  He is such a good boy!
(Matt is turning into one of those people.  But I am glad he got such a great picture.)

My new favorite item for Karsten at church.  It keeps him occupied for a very long time!

Celebrating the November B-Day's at the ranch for Thanksgiving.

This is so classic!  We take my parents to the Alpine Christmas concert every year.  This year we were first in line so we got great seats.  Little did my parents know that they were going to be put on the spot and have to kiss under the mistletoe.  They were great sports!

It snowed! - My kids love it!  And love to go sledding!

Now it is Karsten's turn.  Luckily he didn't have to get tonsils out.  Just 8 cavities fixed. :/  So since we have met our deductible we just decided to have Dr. Gifford do it all at once.  He did great!

Boys singing at our ward Christmas program.

Happy 7th Bday Makai!!

Our sweet Makai turned 7.  He loves Breakfast in bed!

French toast, eggs with cheese and Hash-browns - what happened to a favorite cereal??

He loves telling time.  And he wanted one with out the digital numbers on it.

Getting ready for his Lego party.

We opened a few presents before all his friends came.

I think he might be excited about what is to come...

He is all about legos!

And a cool snack lego guy.

And then the party begins...  Pinning the head on the lego.  I have to say I did this lego guy all free-hand.  I am not an artist at all, but I think it turned out pretty good!

Cool kids with lego crowns.

And of coarse a lego cake. :)

Kai is such a sweet kid!  He loves to be silly and is always making us laugh.  He is doing so well in 1st grade.  He hates to wake up early and do his math homework, but he is super obedient!  He is becoming a very good reader and loves recess the best at school.  We love our cute Kai Kai! :)

New Orleans - SOLLE

My second Solle Convention.  It w as New Orleans this year.  I did it all by myself and it was quite an experience. :)

This was taken at the top of the Hyatt Hotel.  (Where the Patriots play.)

I ventured out to the French Quarters.  This is one of the many bands playing in the street.

Some cool monuments.

Matt said I had to go here to get some beignet.  I had to walk pretty far to get their version of a donut.

I wish I had a close up of this picture.  There is a mime on the other side dressed up like a soldier.  He was cool.

Lots of carriage rides.  I should have taken one on the way back......

A beautiful Cathedral in the Quarters.

The river - I tried to get the ferry in the background.

This is a picture of the famous beignet.  I was trying to take this picture to send to Matt when I got approached by my long lost love - or so he thought.  I couldn't even take the picture because my nerves were getting to me as this sweet man felt the need to become attached.  Luckily I had two more donuts in the bag that I gave him.  It helped release him holding my hand.  I left very quickly only to get lost, get rained on and went down a few wrong streets that I was the only white person.  Not the funnest experience, but it was a great story to tell when I got home.  (This is why I said I should have taken a carriage ride back to my hotel.:))

Matt was a trooper to watch the kids while I was gone.  This is a picture of Karsten and his friend.  He said "dad take a picture of us and put in on Instagram".  :)

Happy Halloween 2013

Our very cute Knight!

Karsten and his wonderful teacher - Mrs. Skousen (Aunt Julie) :)

With cute cousin Sophie.

Giving loves.

Treats with Levi.

Karsten got to go trick-or-treating with his friend Caleb.

Helping out in Kai's Halloween party.

My cute group this year.  Mikaela just dressed up in Halloween colors - She later went out at a Hawaiian dancer.  Koby was a ninja.  Kai was Darth Vader.  And Karsten was a night. :)

The boys. :)

Koby went out with his friends this year.  They got so much candy and had so much fun.

We did some awesome pumpkins!  Matt really did good with Kai's Darth Vader!

Koby had a field trip up in Salt Lake where his class go to run a (Pretend) small city.  He worked at Best Buy.  It was super cool!

Mikaela and her friend Emma with Erika Owens - BYU's women's soccer goalie and Mikaela's old coach.
