New Year New Blog

I am not sure if anyone reads blogs anymore, but I have decided that starting 2012 I am going to stop scrapbooking and make my blog my new way of doing things.  I am completely burned out of scrapbooking.  I will still try and do Makai's and Karsten's until they are 8.  But as for the older kids and our family I am going to try this.  I will be putting on more pictures and more journaling and then will print them out every year.  I think it will be a lot easier!!  Happy New Year to Everyone!! :)

Funny Funny Kai!

So Kai just informed me that next year he wants a bat cookie party and then the year after that we are going to have a ghost cookie party for his B-Day.  I just smiled and said ok.  Then he said when he turned 100 he wanted to have a skeleton cookie party for all of his friends, but that 100 years is a really far away.  I told him that he would have to make the cookies himself because I would probably and hopefully be up in heaven.  He thought for a minute and then said well maybe Daddy can do it. :)

A few minutes later he was giving AJ some dog food and I said how much AJ appreciated it.  Then Kai said well AJ used to give me dog food when I was a dog.  (And then he rambled on for about 5 minutes of his life as a dog.  And yes it included a costume.)  :)

Oh how I love my Kai Kai. :)

Makai's 5th B-Day

Our sweet Kai Kai turned 5 in November.  He started with a pumpkin party the Saturday before his B-Day.
We painted pumpkins, painted faces, played pin the face on the pumpkin, pumpkin races, had a pumpkin cake and presents.  Kai LOVES PUMPKINS. :)

On Kai's B-Day.  Breakfast in bed.  Gotta love when the kids want a favorite cereal! :)

Also got to love when they want to go to McDonald's for their B-Day dinner. :)

Kai also loves dinosaurs.  About as much as pumpkins. :)

And he is obsessed with Bowser from Mario Cart.

Cute Family!
To our sweet Makai.  We honestly don't know where this kid came from.  He is the sweetest boy ever!  He is also in his own world  most of the time.  We love that he is so easy going and that he can cry a river with a seconds notice.  He loves school, gymnastics and fishes (to eat).  He has terrible teeth and now has two silver caps that we like to call pirate teeth.  We love our sweet Kai!

I didn't get any pictures of Thanksgiving except for the cute favors we made. :)

Celebrating the November B-Days with the Skousen family.  Cameron, Olivia and Kai.
